i have to agree with jeanette on this one.. i don't think i've ever been so canadian in my life. at work, i brought my mini-tv just to watch the game. the tv was so small that you couldn't even see where the puck was. and i could only get the french channel.. so the commentating part sucked.
anyways... i've never shown so much pride in my life until today. driving to megs house, canadian flags were flying everywhere. honked at everyone i saw. dropped her off... and decided to see the festivities on main street.... and what can i say??? it was amazing.. everyone was outside, cheering and screaming for canada. car horns honking wildly, including mine. but when main street turned into markham road.... everything changed. no flags, no cheering, no nothing. i was sad. so i started honking on my own.. holding up my finger.. (# 1) but no one responded. so i stopped. STUPID SCARBOROUGH PEOPLE! well maybe its cause everyone that lives around here is brown... or black.. and don't watch hockey...

i'm so proud!
wooooooow.... my cousin ran a half marathon.... which is 21.0975 km. competitors were mostly 20-50 years of age... while my cousin's only 15... and she placed 2nd!!!!!! so very proud..... i wish i had that much stamina!

joy. i have work this sunday. i want sleep. i need sleep.

so i found my fishy suctioned to the side of the filter. :( 3 more left. i'm just scared that they're going to die on me when my parents leave me for 10 days. eek. can someone take out the fish for me if they do die? please. i'll pay u a dollar!!!!

so i haven't seen my grandparents in ages, and even though sometimes i get annoyed when i have to talk to them on the phone, i miss them very much.
we had our chinese new years party at my house today, but most of the time, i was upstairs because well, none of my extended family people really talk to me, so i don't see the point of me sitting downstairs doing nothing. after everyone leaves, i find out that my cousin had taped some video images of my grandfather. i'm so mad that i didn't get to see this video... especially since i won't be seeing him anytime soon... why couldn't my parents tell me about this?!?.. they know i haven't seen them since grade 9.. and it's sad to know that i may never see them ever again.

i have the greatest friends ever! valentines day normally sucks.... but ang and ness gave out the coolest valentine's gifts ever! (sorry jeanette... yours were cool too. i liked the jelly cups.) the balloon made me happy and made me feel special.. even though like 20 other people in the school had one.
aaaaaannnnnddddd.... nila gave me a valentine too.. only "special" people got a valentine from her. hehe.... i was a chosen one. yay :)
someone stole my heart at school. i was so mad. everyone came up to me and said.. whoa.. jackie, your heart is massive.. but then when ang goes to look for it so she could take it down and give it to me, it disappeared. :( can i have my heart back please? it had a message on the back which i wanted to read. :( boohoo.

my mom got this email from my aunt today..... about these traditional chinese clothing which we have to wear for out family reunion in june (PUKE!) anyways, for those who have seen my mom.. well, she's a bit above the average size of people. she wears a size large.. BUT, in HK.. my mom fits in a XXXL. geez..... that's awful.

Last night was definitely an experience. i can't say too much about it here.... cause u know... people i don't want to know might be snooping around and reading this... but i'll be happy to tell you about the weirdness that happened in person. if i like u that is.... haha.
it was the first party i've been to in a while where it was actually not BORING... The last party where i watched people play CANDY LAND.
anyways.. i have news for everyone.. but if u want to find out what it is... i can't tell u on here either. go check the phys ed schedule in mcalpines office...... it'll say it on there. :)

i never knew mickey d's fries holder things could be so fun.. lol. sam shoots a fry in her eye... jeanette trying to shoot lettuce.. and ang... haha i dunno. she's just weird with her holder.

woohoo!! i grew... well, my coach says i grew... and i was thinking.... maybe i grew because i haven't played sports for the year. and rest made me grow?
anyways.. my arms are sore.... argh. that's what i get for not picking up a ball for 3 months. and after swinging the bat... i was in so much pain. like ang said.. good thing my english exam wasn't tomorrow!!!!
i was thinking of working out in the gym (somehow) after school.. to strengthen my arm again. i need someone to play catch with. any volunteers??!?!?!

i'm excited for tomorrow... mongolian grill.. here we come! thank goodness for those buy one get one free coupons!!! im going to stuff myself with all the food i can eat. i'm going to be so fat.. it's not even funny. even my mom said i was getting fat... are mom's allowed to do that!??!?!!!?!?!!
nila came back to school today... and made me very happy! im so jealous of her tan!! I WANT I WANT! someone go on a vacation to a hot place with me!!! why must it be so cold here.. give me some heat!

-me, frantically screaming "LANA!" when she's right behind me.
-having snow fly into my face when the bus driver opens his window.
-hearing ms. filazolla scream going down the hill.
-great softball talks with mcalpine.
-lana's hat falling off the first time she went down.
-ang and vanessa's stories about running over a kid.
-our last run, with 5 of us going down.

It's a tie! LOL. but i like the first one. hehehe
