so today was an interesting day. two "lasts" at Mary Ward. It was my last softball game. it wouldn't have been our last if we had won, but no, the season ended with a 7-1 loss to Oconnor. i was hoping for a season that was just as successful as last year. but that failed. i realized what we lost many key players. the shawsies and renee - basically our entire outfield. then there was heather and jaclyn beca, key players of the infield. sigh... oh well, there's nothing we can do about it now.
Besides my last Mary Ward softball game, it was also my last Music concert tonight. Each graduate recieved a rose from Mr. J, and it was really nice of him to acknowledge the grads like that. I simply cannot believe it's been 5 years of highschool already. wow.

what a great weekend of ball!! well, first we started off pretty shitty....... friday night, played in the POURING rain, lost 7-0 to stoney creek. saturday, lost to cambridge 6-4 and mississauga 12-2. this put us in last place in our pool with a shit record of 0-3. then we had to cross divisions, so we had to play the first place team, and surprise, surprise.... we WON!!!! woohoo. so this morning, we had to play mississauga in the semis. who would have thought that after losing 12-2 the previous day, we'd come back to kick some ass and won 5-2!! yay oaks! then it was the championship game.... really close game........and we ended up losing only by 1 run. sigh.... oh well.... it was a great weekend. i'm so proud of my team!! OAKS! OAKS!

we lost again. and chances of making the playoffs are becoming slimmer and slimmer.. sigh... it's really going to suck seeing that it is my last year of highschool ball and that we'll end with the crappiest season EVER. but maybe it'll be ok, seeing that i have soooo much schoolwork still left to do.
the good news is, today i found out that i've been accepted to mcmaster and western. woop woop. now i have 3 to pick from..... my mom really wants me to go to MAC. but i dunno.... western seems like the best environment.. but MAC is a great school, with one of the best kinesiology programs... decisions, decisions. SIGH.

man, oh man..... why can't we just get things straight. i mean, it's as simple as.... putting your fricken glove on the ground, get the ball into your glove, take the ball out, and throw. geez. i dunno... it just seems like deja vu all over again. i think we're jinxed... and there's a couple of situations that i can think of that has made us this way. i can't believe we lost again.... to a team who we could easily beat... soon enough, our season will be over.... will we even make the playoffs? who knows. we have a tough game tm against undefeated newman. if only we could always play the way we did against bishop allen. sigh, everything would be lovely.

sidenote - try paying at a tim horton's drivethru through the sun roof. HAHAHA. let me tell you.. it's so much FUN!

i had a great long weekend.. from rollerblading.... to jeff's party.... hehe. it was awesome..... well. except for the part when we actually decided to sleep.. it was so fuckin cold that i rolled up into a ball and even had the blanket over my head. but from now on.. no more partying until school is over. man.. 13 days of school left. i can't believe it. i had a TA interview today and my TA wrote about how i've been such a big part of her life.. and it almost made me cry. Wow... no more highschool.... that's toooo fuckin nuts!!! Had band practice today. lol. it was so funny. i can't believe how bad we sounded..... yeeesh! Haha.. in the middle of a song i could hear Mr. J encouraging me to play cause since andrew wasn't there.. i stayed in the first clarinets section and played his part.... STRUGGLES i tell you.
Today was my last physio session!! WOOHOO. there was suppose to be a game tonight. but it's rained out. we got a game tomorrow in pickering... anyone wanna come watch jackie back into full action again!??! hehe.

so my whole week of crazy baseball didn't turn out to be so crazy afterall.. since i injured my hamstring... i pretty much broke it last wednesday.... so i struggled playing thursday and the rest of the weekend. finally got to rest my leg on sunday and monday... then went to physio and he told me to not play for 15 days. grr. that made me mad. so i played the next day anyways.. and the B.A tournament yesterday. my leg feels better.. at least i can run now without any pain. but after yesterdays tournament, my body is aching all over again. everywhere hurts... sigh. but i did get a couple of nice massages today! ;)

-wow.. there's a crazy commenting competition below... haha... u guys are waaay too funny.
-i feel uber tired right now. i wanna pass out... but that's not a good thing because i have sooo much work to do. practice was crazy tiring today.
-i can't wait for our game on thursday. i hope the weather is nice and not crappy like today's.
-i was so relieved to find out that my world issues presentation is not till next thursday. phew.
-it's been great talking to my elementary school crush again.... lol...
-i want to go to pmall for an adventure.. sigh.

ooh. so i just also found out.. that next tuesday, the day before the B.A tournament.. my rep team has our first game of the regular season.....
i am going to be SOOOOOOO DEAD.

oh my gosh. i just realized how much baseball i have this coming week and a half........
school practice monday... and probably wednesday.

halton hills tournament friday - sunday
school game next monday and tuesday.. and bishop allen tournament next wednesday.

holy shit. im going to die.

im back!!! i said i was going to update in germany/austria.. but i never did cause it cost to much to use the net.anyways.. i had a really great time. everyone keeps asking how this trip compared to that last trip, but it is impossible to compare the 2 because they were such different trips. the food was good for the first couple days, but by the end of the trip everyone was sick of sausages and schnitzel. the accommadations were amazing, the city life of germany and austria is much different than here in toronto. they had parts of the city which was designed for only pedestrians, and people would be able to shop around without being hit by cars.... it's because they dont have any malls in europe. most of our concerts were successful, except for the one which we had the biggest audience. after one of the concerts we even got a reception, and the teachers actually let us have some wine. haha... oh man.. and there were sooo many drunken stories i'll never forget.
im so glad good things have come out of this trip. i've made many new friends, and become much closer to another. it was a good 2 weeks off away from school. and now i must face the fact that there's only one month of school left. although i feel more relaxed knowing that at least one university will take me, i still have to work my butt off to maintain a good average. sigh. i fuckin hate school. (sorry for ending so bitter)
