Let's hear it...

- Cousin from Ohio came up last weekend for father's day fun. He didn't end up getting here until 12, because he got held up at customs for having a knife in his car and fined 200 bucks. They also searched for underage porn on his laptop. Poor guy... but having chinese food all weekend made up for everything.

- Ate lots of food that weekend.... Dimsum... BBQ... Father's Day feast at the chinese restaurant. too much for me to handle. It was some crazy family bonding time.

- Got the job! wooo.... that's right kids.. come visit me at the zoo. I don't exactly which food place i'll be working at. but i'll find out on saturday.

- Played Beer League last night with Coach Kelly and Meagan. It was too much fun... competitive... yet relaxed. After the game (we won 30-10) and the men on the team bought us drinks. SCORE. plus we got free wings from the bar because they sponsor the team. Too much fun.. and if I don't work monday nights, i'll play again for sure.

- Jays game today.... the best part of today was soaking up the sun, getting myself a nice tan. :D JAYS SUCK. I can't believe I'm going to the game again on Saturday after training. Thanks Marco for coming with me, and I hope you're not too burnt out for prom!

- He messaged me today. He asked me how summer was going. Then he asked me to give me my home phone number so he could talk to me for a few minutes. So then I said I had to leave and I blocked him.

- Congrats to Matty for getting into Western! He's my CMM. haha. :D

- So these creepy crawlies keep on appearing in my bathroom. GO AWAY.

BID! BID!!!

Ah... my first ebay auction. how exciting that was! but it wasn't even me bidding! BROK did it for me... haha, that was intense.. with 28 seconds left. So now i finally have my fm transmitter so i can play my ipod music while i'm in the car. woohoo! i gotta go pick it up at the warehouse tomorrow. ATTENTION EVERYONE... DJ Jackie is coming on the air!

Cousin is coming up from Ohio today. When he comes, we're gonna take him out to go for a midnite chinese food run. This weekend will be exciting.... a fam jam at my place on saturday for father's day. and then on sunday a night out with the fam again to some chinese restaurant.

So I finally have a job interview with the zoo. woo. and i talked to the manager today. he seems nice. i'm not as scared anymore... hopefully all goes well!

BROK and I spent Wednesday playing video games.... and after we had a little ironman competition of our own. We decided that we were going to draw a picture of ourselves based on a digi pic we took. oh man, it was great. since BROK hasn't blogged yet... i get to post the pics first! WOO!!



As you can see.. i didnt know how to colour the thing..... so yea. but that was fun! we thought we could do lots more in 20 minutes.. but obviously not. hehe. i love IRONMAN. lets do it again!

"Let's not talk about a possible ending..."

It's been a crazy week and now i finally have time to update. I think it has actually been my most booked week so far this summer. Actually.. maybe it was just the past 4 days. but anyways.. here's my story.

- Thursday: Job hunting again... at Markville. I think Laura Secord wants me. well it sure seemed like they did. we'll see how that goes. I would like to thank drew and sarah for laughing at me when i applied at toys r us. Oohh. but the highlight of my adventure to the mall was while in american eagle i recognized this guy from somewhere.... he had this really orange tan.. and i was like.. it's.. it's... ONE OF THE TWINS FROM b4-4!!!! haha. oh b4-4... what happened to you. anyways.. it would have been way to embarassing to talk to him since i didnt even know his name, so that was that! lol. Hung out with Mer for a bit.... yay my gurlie is 20!!!
Thursday night was fun, as i made the best out of it while everyone was drunk except for me. The poor girls were forced to drink another pitcher. and the boys were great.... trying to kick ass in pool, too fun to watch! Drunken Matty sprawls on the wrong Jetta. "Simone". Moo scooping head from the beer with her peanut shells. HAHA. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life.

- Friday: Didn't do much during the day. Got a surprise phone call. Moo invited me on a hot date to see Grease at McGivney. Haha... too much fun. The play wasn't put on too great... the best part about it was watching that boy struggle to dance... and intermission was wicked. oh. and there was puke on my car. a long fat trail of puke.

- Saturday: To the L.DOT to visit the house. it's full of dust bunnies and garbage. we have magical furniture that just happened to show up in our living room.. interesting. I say if its still there the next time someone goes up, it's ours! haha, it looks like crap but we can put some slip covers on it or something to make it look pretty. I hope the cleaning people that are coming in on monday do a good job of cleaning up that place. because it looks SICK. I met.. well just saw... one of the boys that are living below us. he seemed cute from far away. haha... oh man.
At night it was great fun roasting marshmellows and hanging out at..... yup. u guessed it.. TIMMY'S. hahaha. what else is there to do? Stayed up til 3 on the phone making sure moo got home safely!

- Sunday: Wonderland with the parents. Yay for the chicken they gave us at lunch. and the cake. That Tomb Raider ride looks wicked but I had no one to go on it with since my parents are scared of everything. I was hoping that maybe i'd meet some of my mom's co-worker's kids.. (boys..) lol. but nope, none. so anyways, eventually i forced both of them on going on the fly. The whole ride i just kept on laughing because i can hear my mom screaming in the back.. 'HELP ME! I'M GOING TO DIE!' and she wouldn't shut up. I wish I had my video camera going. That would have been some wicked footage.

And now I'm tired. I wanted to go out tonight, but... I'm too tired. So I'm going to melt into a blob and find me a nice spot on the couch and watch some good ol' tv.

Blackout 2004

Woke up this morning, and was just about to take a shower, when I noticed the ventilation fan suddenly shut off. GREAT.. blackout! So i figured it would come back on shortly... I was going to shower, but I didnt want my hair to stay wet because I get headaches that way.... so I waited. Half an hour later, still no power... so I took my shower, still no power. Alright.. so I'm starving and my hair is wet. Go downstairs.. and all I have to eat is junk. Chips and cereal. Had me a bowl of cereal, and read the paper. Eventually I wanted to find out why the hell the power was still out.. so I turned on my mini-tv... but i just missed the news. So then I turned on 680 news and they said that power was out from markham rd - pickering town line.. and steeles - lake ontario. whoa.... malvern blackout. so i thought to myself, GREAT.. just great... if it was like last time, it's going to take 2 days to bring back power. So I sat down.. wrote in my journal... people kept me company on the phone.. and 3 and a half hours later.. POWER! yaaaaaaay!!! I hate blackouts. I couldn't go anywhere either because the stupid garage door is electrical... my rollerblades were in the trunk of my car.... and we don't have a door from the house to the garage so i was screwed.

So when matty came over for OTH marathon, I made him pose like my husband Chad (It was moo's idea...). They're both hotties don't you think?!?! Hehe. Matty is so great!

A group of ravens predicts trouble ahead...

- Matty and Brian are the best drunkees EVER. i love it. also, them being drunk yet also beating me at pool shows how SHITTY i am at pool. It was a night of great fun.... with the 3 of us looking 'oh so cool' with the hats. Can't wait to do it again boys!!!

- Today was OTH marathon w/matty. The season finale was sooooooo awesome... sooo glad OTH got picked up for a second season. you guys have to download this show! it's not that great at first, but it eventually picks up, and OH MAN. the drama. so wicked.

- Although you interrupted OTH marathon, i didnt mind it at all because it was SOOO worth it. i miss you so much and thank you for calling. you know how sometimes you just don't know what to say or carry on a conversation with someone? no awkward moments there. it was wonderful. heh, and yes, you're STILL my senior idol. :P

- Congrats to the ward kids for finishing school!!! (well, still exams left.. but u know what i mean..)

- Blading 2-3 times a week... that'll be a good workout. I'm also going to start playing basketball outside more often. Must do sporty activities. No baseball has made me into a ball of flab.

- Ran into Ian at the purolator office. lol.. it was funny.. because... of all places... PUROLATOR?!?! haha. anyways, Ian is much taller than i remembered him being. waited in line for 10 minutes so it was nice to talk to someone instead of standing around reading the signs on the walls.

- Cell phone is back!

Cloned kids...
Would you ever let someone clone you? Had this discussion with my parents after watching Godsend. For those who haven't seen this movie, (DON'T SEE IT!) it's about this kid that dies, and their parents decide to clone the kid so that he's "back". Anyways, we wondered what it would be like if me, my mom and dad decided to each clone a kid of our own and have them grow up together. my mom claims that her clone would beat us up since she was the largest at birth coming in at 9 pounds.. and my poor dad.. only 5 pounds. Would their clones become my... brother and sister? and my clone be my parent's grandchild? Haha.. it was a great discussion I must say.
